I have Read and Agree to the Service’s Terms & Conditions. I also understand that all published times are subject to change depending on traffic concerns to assure students meet school start times, and that the service is not available on State and Federal holidays and school intercessions. Student(s) should be at pick-up point(s) at least 10 minutes prior to pick-up time. Drivers do not stand by. Routes, times and areas of service are subject to change. School pick-up schedule will remain the same regardless of early dismissals. Each grade level must catch assigned pick-up time; no bus jumping.

Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the Private School Bus charter services (“Services”) provided by Robert’s Hawaii School Bus, Inc. (“Company”) for Private School bus charters. By booking our Services, the client (“Client”) agrees to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

2. Scope of Service

Services are based on School Semester and fee is based on roundtrip. If there are available seats, Company will put Client on wait list for one way service requests.

Private school bus services will not operate on the State, Federal and School holidays.

This is a shared transportation service.

3. Booking and Payment

3.1 Reservation: All reservations are on a first come, first serve basis and can be made online at least seven (7) days prior to start of school. A booking is only confirmed once written confirmation is received from the Company that a seat has been reserved for the Client.

3.2 Deposit: Full prepayment is required to secure a seat for the Client.

3.3 Payment: Full payment may be made online via our portal.

3.4 Late Payment: Failure to make payment by the due date may result in cancellation of the seat reserved for your Client.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

4.1 Client Cancellation: If the Client cancels the booking:

Outside of seven (7) days of school start date: full refund less a $50 cancellation fee.

Within seven (7) days of school start date: No refund will be provided.

4.2 Company Cancellation: The Company reserves the right to cancel the booking in the event the Private School Bus charter does not meet its minimum for the school or zone. In such cases, the Client will receive a full refund.

5. Responsibilities of the Client

5.1 Conduct: The Client is responsible for the behavior of their own student. Any damage caused by student will be charged to the Client.

5.2 Compliance: Passengers must comply with all instructions from the bus driver and adhere to safety regulations.

6. Responsibilities of the Company

6.1 Driver: The Company will provide a qualified driver for the charter.

6.2 Vehicle: The Company will ensure the bus is in good working condition and compliant with all safety standards.

6.3 Insurance: The Company maintains necessary insurance coverage for the vehicle and passengers.

7. Limitations of Liability

7.1 Indirect Damages: The Company is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from the use of our Services.

7.2 Delays: The Company is not responsible for delays caused by factors beyond our control, such as traffic, weather, or road conditions.

8. Safety and Regulations

8.1 Safety: All students must follow safety instructions provided by the driver.

8.2 Prohibited Items: Smoking, alcohol, and illegal substances are strictly prohibited on the bus. All backpacks and personal belongings must be able to be stored under the seat in front of them and securely tucked away for safety reasons. In the event of an emergency, such as a sudden stop, large loose items on laps could become dangerous projectiles if not properly secured.

8.3 Emergency Procedures: In case of an emergency, passengers must follow the driver’s instructions.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

9.1 Data Use: The Company will collect and use personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9.2 Confidentiality: Personal data will be kept confidential and not shared with third parties without consent, except as required by law.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of State of Hawaii. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of Hawaii.

11. Amendments

The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes prior to their charter date.
